Job Description

My client, a dynamic and slick Law Firm, with stunning offices in Central London, seeks a Junior Office Manager to ensure that the front of house service provided is of the highest standard, and to supervise, support, and cover for the Office Assistants.

The successful candidate will have at least one year’s experience in an office administration function, as well as any customer service experience. You will ideally have experience in a supervisory position.

This role requires someone who is confident dealing with professionals both internally and with an external global client base. As such, we are seeking a professionally presented individual who possesses an exceptional telephone manner and recognises the importance of creating an excellent customer experience.

The role is very independent so the ability to manage your own workload and that of the Office Assistant is vital. You will have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, and good general IT literacy and the ability to learn new systems is essential.

Appraisal/performance meetings as part of supervisory position
Organising workload and setting targets and deadlines
Handling and distributing post and deliveries
Maintaining office and IT supplies
Organising refreshments and/or catering for meetings and events
Planning ahead and updating information to building security and daily planner
Receiving visitors and guests, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls in a professional manner taking messages when required
Event coordination, including arranging catering, response tracking, name badge creation, etc
