INTRODUCTION:

A Stores Coordinator / Administrator is required to join a top company located within central London. The company is set within Chelsea and is a village type environment, with beautiful vast gardens and various buildings, many of which are listed and have a lot of historic background. This setting is the home to retired persons, who enjoy the exceptional service and facilities that they reside within. Some communication with the residents and an understanding and warm personality is required.

The Stores post is working with a store keeper and you will be involved in some of the distribution, although a lot of this is done by the store keeper. You will also be responsible for stock checks, stock records and storage, recording of deliveries, usage, distribution and reporting, as well as ensuring good communication with suppliers and staff, basic accounts are retained, matching of deliveries to orders and checking costs etc.

SALARY ETC:

Stores Accountant and the salary is £22,000
Working 41 hours Monday – Friday (including breaks).

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

Responsibility for all stores matters, including accommodation /cleaning items
Provides support to the Clothing Store Keeper with clothing issues, together with the provision of materials to support functions and events;
Responsible for the maintenance and operation of all stores accounts / admin and related services;
Provides the Manager with a weekly update of any outstanding issues in respect of any stores or service related concerns
Maintain ongoing liaison with departments, suppliers and contractors over service delivery;
Monitors stock levels and submits Requests for Contract Action for resupply as required to the Procurement Officer;
Completes orders sent via Request for Contract Action
Checks all deliveries against documentation and forwards these to the Procurement Officer.
Responsible for the end of month and annual close down of accounts (basic admin / data entry)
REQUIREMENTS:

Some experience of working in stores
Experience within supply and stock checking
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office software
