Activities & Events Coordinator – Mental Health / Social Care – £28k to £32k.

This post of Activities & Events Coordinator is working for an organisation that supports people with mental health challenges through sheltered housing. Responsible for running of the activities and events. Helping to provide a wide range of centralised and local activities and events for residents. To support them to move towards independent living.

SALARY ETC:

£28k to £32k + excellent benefits package.
South East London
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm and based in office.
Permanent, full-time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Related qualification in health and social care sector.
• Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
• Knowledge of organising and promoting events.
• Marketing and communications experience to promote events and activities.
• Skills and experience in organising events and/or conferences.
• Some level of social media marketing.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

• Leading and organising the company’s major external events.
• Organising industry-relevant events and activities.
• Build and maintain relationships.
• Design, organise and deliver various workshops.
• Undertake various marketing, advertising, and promoting activities.
• As the department grows, to build and lead the Activities & Events team.
• Assist in organising company in-house events such as Christmas parties.
• Create in advance the weekly/monthly/annual activities and events scheduling calendar.
