Breakfast Chef + Tips/trunk + benefits – Pembrokeshire, Wales – 4*, 2 Rosettes – Fine Dinning

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Breakfast Chef who is looking for an opportunity in a small hotel, with excellent standards, and a strong practising belief in offering a good life/work balance. This beautiful hotel is located within a short drive to some beautiful villages near the coast, with some lovely coastal walks. Due to the location, you will need to be able to drive, but the location and views are stunning, with a really friendly and supportive team throughout the hotel, as well as within the kitchen brigade. The Chefs are encouraged to participate in menu design and work as a very hands on friendly and professional team, with support and an encouraging team environment.


£18k to 19k + Tips/trunk + Benefits
Pembrokeshire, Wales
Permanent, full-time
4*, 2 Rosettes – Fine Dinning, 40 to 50 covers (one sitting)
5 days out of 7, with a 7:30am start to 3:30pm
They will help with finding accommodation in the nearby villages if relocating, if required

Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety, licensing and employment law ensuring all colleagues are aware of the legislation and expectations
Prepare and serve breakfasts to company standards.
Check food stocks on a regular basis and order the appropriate food stocks to match business needs in a timely manner to reduce food waste and minimize out of date stock.
Liaise with colleagues regarding guest dietary requirements and special requests.
Ensure all areas are cleaned with the correct cleaning product in a safe working environment.
Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment.
Be present during event operations including Weddings, Events, Christmas, New Year, Easter and other School and Bank Holidays as required.
Provide a smooth delivery of service and guest satisfaction at all times possible to anticipate guests’ needs. To be aware of all written and spoken requests and carry them out in a courteous and helpful manner.
Promote the other departments within the group at every given opportunity in order to maximize group sales.

Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to drive the Group’s reputation forward.
Possess exceptional guest service skills with a can do attitude.
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook.
Superb attention to detail.
Good command of the English language.
A good approach to teamwork.
The ability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment.
Flexible attitude to working patterns over 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
