Chef de Partie – Monday to Friday – 2am to 2pm – £28k to £30k + benefits – Corporate Catering & Events
A leading Corporate Catering & Events catering company is looking for an experienced Chef de PArtie to join its team of friendly professional brigade. The Chef de Partie will be working from 2am on Monday morning (Sunday night) to 2pm, with the last shift of the week from 2am Friday morning (Thursday night) to 2pm on Friday. They are a passionate and friendly team of chefs, delivering fresh food for a variety of clients throughout the city of London, as well as various breakfasts, lunches and events. Outstanding presentation and quality of food, with a strong reputation and number of clients throuhgout the City.
£28k to £30k + Benefits
Location: South East London
Monday to Friday, 2am to 2pm
The Chef de Partie will be preparing a range of food for breakfasts, lunches, soups, speciality platters and afternoon Teas for top companies in London. These will include things such as pattered sandwiches, finger foods, salads, fork buffets, canapes, hot foods etc. These will be sent out early in the morning for breakfasts and meetings, as well as throughout the day.
The Chef De Partie will lead a section in the kitchen creating the finest dishes and work to the highest standards in a clean and organised manner.
Assist and support the head chef in food preparation and oversee food preparation
Prepare dishes from the menu as directed by the Head Chef
Help with menu planning
Enforce safety, health, and hygiene standards in the kitchen as directed by your head chef
Ensure that food goes to the customers promptly
Run an environment that is clean, tidy, and organised always.
Experience of producing similar food items within a Hotel, Restaurant, or catering company
C&G 706/1 & 2 or NVQ level 2, or similar cooking qualifications, or equivalent experience
Able to work the days and hours as detailed above
Trustworthy and punctual, as well as able to work on own and in a team
Good communication skills and able to produce good standards of food, presented well.
