Clinical Lead Nurse (18-month Contract) – RGN – Elderly Care – Retirement Village – £47.5k to £49.5k + excellent benefits – Central London.

This is an opportunity to join a beautiful and historic village for elderly residents, located within vast beautiful gardens. The Clinical Lead Nurse will be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff. Alongside leadership capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to plan, implement and evaluate evidence based nursing care for the Pensioners. You must also have up to date knowledge of the CQC fundamental standards

SALARY ETC:

£47.5k to £49.5k per annum.
42.5 hours a week, including paid lunch breaks.
Excellent staff welfare and work/life balance.
Central SW London.
18-month contract, full-time.
12-hour shifts on a rota basis (will include days, nights and weekends).
Civil Service Pension contributions at 20%.
Up to 30 days of holiday (starting at 25 days) plus bank holidays.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have full right to work in the UK (Not able to offer sponsorship).
• Experience of elderly patients in the Hospital, Care and or Nursing Home.
• To be registered with the NMC (RGN) with substantial post registration experience.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

• Effective and approachable clinical leadership to nursing and care staff.
• Understanding of the Care Quality Commission`s Fundamental Standards.
• Ensure all care plans are completed comprehensively.
• Assist Ward Manager in auditing clinical quality of the care services monthly.
• Provide clinical individual and group supervisions for staff.
• Support staff nurses and care staff in their shift management.
• Oversee and support staff with new admissions.
• Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with the Pensioners.
