Delivery Driver (Moped and Electric Van) – Family Butchers – £20k to £25k + excellent career opportunity & benefits.

An opportunity to work in a luxury, family run retail butcher shop has become available. They are looking for someone to drive their moped and occasionally the electric small van. Transferring goods and products between their shops in central SW London, as well as small deliveries in the area to customers.

SALARY ETC:

£20,000 to £25,000 + benefits.
Hours are 48 hours a week. 5 days a week, including breaks, working over weekends (Sundays on a rota).
Location: Fulham, Putney, South Kensington.
Permanent, full-time – Must be looking for a long-term permanent job.
Start: ASAP

REQUIREMENTS:

Have a clean driving license for driving a moped.
Some experience of similar delivery and driving of a moped.
Must have good driving skills and enjoy working in a team.
Excellent customer service skills especially when meeting and greeting.
Hands on with handling of meat and products (cannot be squeamish!).
Willing to be part of a hard-working and friendly team assisting where needed.
Good manner with a customer orientated approach.
Must have the right to work in the UK.

JOB DETAILS:

This family run retail butcher shop chain is looking for someone who is able and willing to support the Butchers shops, with some customer deliveries. They need an up beat, hard-working, positive team player, who understands the joys of retail. You will be assisting with transfers between the 3 shops and delivering to some customers as well. It is therefore essential that you are happy in handling of meat, have good customer and communication skills, are reliable and have a friendly and trustworthy nature.
