Job Description

A prestigious membership organisation, is urgently seeking an experienced Events Manager to join and lead their busy Events team. Paying up to £55 000. Hybrid working.

We are looking for an experienced events and marketing professional. Someone with excellent skills in planning, marketing and delivering events. Managing relationships with staff at all levels & partner organisations, is very important too.

The Events Manager will be responsible for ensuring conferences, exhibitions, seminars, core topics and meetings are planned. Well-publicised, managed and delivered to the highest standard. With maximum impact for identified target audiences.

With a team of 4 reporting to you, you will be required to line manage the team. Setting individual objectives, mentoring to encourage development.

Duties:

• Promote and safeguard the business interests.
• Work with the Head of Education developing annual business plans, budgets and targets.
• Ensure the continual development of in-person and hybrid educational events.
• Provide expertise in event design, delivery and management.
• Bring innovation to the current event offering.
• Lead on managing, coordinating, and implementing Educational Events.
• Arrange programme of conferences, exhibitions, seminars, in-person and hybrid.
• Take responsibility for delivering events.
• Create and deliver sponsorship and exhibition opportunities.
• Develop and deliver marketing plans and materials to grow audiences.
• Commission, negotiate and manage event/supplier contracts.

Flexible working practices will be required, as part of this role and may include evening, overnight and weekend work. Reasonable time-off-in-lieu (TOIL) is available.

This role is based at the head office in Central London and my client offers a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Salary circa 50K – 55K plus excellent benefits
