Finance and Governance Manager – £45 000 pro rata (4 days a week).

A small charity / membership organisation, with offices based in Central London. Is seeking a part- time (28 hours / 4 days per week) Finance and Governance Manager.

Working with the CEO the successful applicant will help to develop the financial strategy. Ensuring the sustainability of the organisation, as well as being responsible for overseeing the finances. The successful candidate will have a good track record of managing finances in a charity or not-for-profit setting.

Financial management, budgeting and reporting Duties:

• Oversee the accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Manage the issuing of invoices and ensure payments are collected.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the board.
• Submit annual reports and accounts to the Charity Commission and to Companies House.
• Prepare information and reports.
• Act as the key contact for the annual audit.

Governance and compliance Duties:

• Ensure compliance with Charity Commissioners’ regulations.
• Advise the Chief Executive on governance matters.
• Manage the board and committee calendar.
• Liaise with Chief Executive to collate board papers.
• Maintain a central register of key documents.
• Work with the Chief Executive to manage the recruitment and induction of Trustees.

This role offers hybrid working and is a part time position (28 hours per week).
The pro rata salary is £45 000 (plus excellent benefits).
