Housekeeping / Cleaning Assistant – Private Hospital – Central London – £18k + excellent benefits
This is an opportunity for a Housekeeping / Cleaning Assistant to join a private leading Hospital in central London. This is a stunning hospital used by VIPs, High profile people and well known for its high standards of care and ability to ensure the privacy and care required by such people and patients. The Housekeeping Assistant will maintain the cleaning standards set by the Hotel Services Manager and infection control sister, throughout the Hospital and staff accommodation.
£18,000 + excellent benefits
Hours of work: 37.5 per week, Monday – Sunday
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
To carry out cleaning procedures as directed by the Housekeeping & Catering Services Manager.
To follow the Hospital Cleaning Procedures in the designated work area.
To carry out Floor Cleaning Procedures as required.
To order on a twice weekly basis all cleaning materials required to carry out duties and complete consumptions sheets as required.
To ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained and used correctly.
On completion of cleaning each room, double check work for accuracy and confirm checking of the room by completing the ‘room checked’ document and sign accordingly.
To follow the Hospital Infection Control Policy.
To work in the Linen Room as required
To report all maintenance faults to the Team Leaders in charge as soon as possible.
To make beds in patients rooms, as per instructions.
To maintain a cheerful disposition at all times, with patients and staff.
To have worked in a similar role as a Cleaner or Housekeeping Assistant, within a Hospital / Care Home or Hotel
To have knowledge or understanding of infection control / COSHH / Health and safety
Well presented and to have a cheerful and positive disposition
Able to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis, working 5 out of 7 days
To be confidential in regards to the identity of patients and guests
