Night Kitchen Assistant – SE London – Temp to Perm – £12ph / £24 960

This is an opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the kitchen brigade of a leading office and event catering service in London. The highly skilled and passionate London caterers and chefs continually create innovative, exciting and seasonal menus that cater to a variety of diets. All freshly prepared on the day of order. The catering services include; office breakfast catering, delicious working lunches, fantastic canapés, bowl food, buffet catering and formal dinners.

SALARY ETC:

£12.00ph / £24,960pa
40 hours a week + optional overtime if required.
Temp to Perm
Working Monday to Friday, minimum 4 shifts a week. Working either Sunday night to Wednesday night or Monday night to Thursday night.
Optional overtime is available as well if interested.
Hours are from 8pm to 6am
Parking is available

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience of working in a similar role within a Hotel, Restaurant, or catering company.
Food hygiene certificate.
Able to work the days and hours as detailed above.
Trustworthy and punctual, as well as able to work on own and in a team.
Good communication skills and have a positive, reliable and friendly approach to teamwork.

DETAILS:

The Kitchen Assistant will work as part of a busy kitchen team, supporting highly skilled chefs.
Delivering luxury catering for private and corporate events across London.
Assisting head chef & line chef with preparations of food & hygiene of the kitchen.
Ensuring all equipment is clean during operations.
Restock at the end of the shift.
General cleaning in kitchen & service area.
This role requires excellent communications skills as well as high standards in the kitchen.
To be successful in this role, you need to be a team player with excellent communication skills.
