This opportunity of a Sous Chef, is located within a luxury retirement complex, offering its residents who have their own private apartments, a 5* Hotel service and luxury retirement living. The applicant must be friendly and approachable, speak with homeowners direct. You must have at least 2 rosette standard experience, be dedicated, excellent skill set and anyone shortlisted will be invited for a cook off. They are looking for long Gevity and people that want to progress within the organisation, which is expanding.
Responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen and the respective employees, ensuring quality preparation and service delivery of all menu items. Maintains all department expenses with-in the budgeted guidelines based on census in accordance with all company standards and operating procedures. Fully responsible for the kitchen and controls in the absence of the Head Chef. Promotes resident satisfaction through understanding their preferences. Trains and develops staff for growth and opportunity to meet the demand of qualified employees needed for continued company success.
£30k to £32k + benefits
Restaurant opening times: Monday – 10-8pm, Tuesday – 10-8pm, Wednesday – 10-8pm, Thursday – 10-8pm, Friday – Closed (Off), Saturday – 10-8pm & Sunday – Closed (Off).
Covers: 60 covers for Restaurant, 70 covers for events as and when.

Experienced in a similar role as a Sous Chef, or Snr CDP ready for their next step up, within a Hotel or similar high standard F&B outlet.
